Traci J. Macnamara is a freelance writer and literary adventurer. She has an undergraduate degree in science from the University of Notre Dame and master's degrees in English literature, writing, and curriculum and instruction.
Macnamara's writing has appeared in magazines, journals, and books such as Backpacker, Vegetarian Times, Isotope, the Patagonia catalog, and A Leaky Tent is a Piece of Paradise (Sierra Club Books, 2007).
In a perfect world, Macnamara would probably drink coffee and read books until noon, write about nature for a few hours, and then go outside to play.
