John Banville Biography:


Irish writer, John Banville, was born December 8, 1945 in Wexford, Ireland where he attended St. Peter's College. After a stint with the Irish airline, Aer Lingus, Banville served as the literary editor of the Irish Times.
His 1989 novel, The Book of Evidence won the Guinness Peat Aviation Book Award and was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and his 2005 novel, The Sea, won the Man Booker. He resides in Dublin
