The Rock Bottom Remainders are a mostly-author rock band which currently includes Dave Barry Stephen King Ridley Pearson Scott Turrow Amy Tan Matt Groening James McBride Mitch Albom, Roy Blount, Jr. Kathi Kamen Goldmark Greg Iles.
Formed in the latter 10th of the 20th century, The Rock Bottom Remainders were the brainchild of semi-professional musician and part-time book publicist, Kathi Goldmark. They hit the scene at the 1992 American Booksellers Association convention and have sporadically rocked the American literati ever since. Their most recent West Coast tour, 3 shows in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles occurred in April 2003.
