The Demise of the Book Tour?

Booker Prize-winning author, Margaret Atwood has formed a corporation, Unotchit [You-No-Touch-It], to create something called LongPenTM, a device that allows authors to sign books from the comfort of their own homes.

Watch the video in which Atwood, from her home in Toronto, Canada, signs a copy of her book, The Penelopiad, for a reader in Guelph, Canada .

The LongPenTM will have its official launch with a transatlantic book signing from Atwood's home in Toronto to the London Book Fair (March 5-7).
