2005 Man Booker Prize Longlist

Yesterday, the judges for the 2005 Man Booker Prize for Fiction announced the longlist of 17 books for this year's prize. These 17 were chosen from 109 entries.

The goal of the Man Booker is to reward the best novel of the year written by a U.K. citizen.
