Harry Potter Book Six name revealed!

Saturday July 3, 2004
Last week, after denying a rumor that Harry Potter Book Six would be titled, The Pillar of Storge, J.K. Rowling revealed the true name of the upcoming installment to be Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Rowling comments on her website that this name had been a possible name for Book 2, Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets, but decided that it was more appropriate for Book 6.

"Certain crucial pieces of information in book six were originally planned for 'Chamber of Secrets', but very early on (first draft of Chamber) I realised that this information's proper home was book six."
