Book Review: Samaritan by Richard Price

Thursday July 1, 2004
Known for writing the best-selling novels The Wanderers, Clockers, and Freedomland, as well as for his more recent screenplays for the movies Sea of Love, Mad Dog and Glory, and The Color of Money, Richard Price turns his attention back to the written word with his recent novel, Samaritan.

Samaritan tells the story of Ray Mitchell, a successful LA screenwriter, who returns to his childhood home in New Jersey to reunite with his estranged daughter and to give something of his success back to the community that reared him.
