Hemispheres Magazine's Faux Faulkner and Imitation Hemingway contests

Monday January 26, 2004
Hemispheres Magazine's March 1 deadline for the Faux Faulkner and Imitation Hemingway contests approaches rapidly. These annual parody contests celebrate two of our greatest writers with the sincerest form of flattery, taken to an extreme. The act of imitation uniquely teaches students about the nuances of a particular writing style.

Besides, it's loads of fun, it's free, and the winners receive prizes. The winners are published in Hemispheres, the magazine of United Airlines, which has a monthly readership of well over a million.
